Christmas Present Crafting

Last night Andrew and I got into
the Christmas spirit!!

While Kev was out Christmas shopping
we cranked Christmas music on Pandora and
gathered all kind of  craft supplies and got busy!

There is something about craft supplies that make
me giddy....all the colors and the endless possibilities!!
I am the same way about new school supplies..
YES, I  am a total nerd but I am o.k. with that!!

I got everything all set up and Andrew was ready to go!

He hardly needed any direction and he did a nice job!!
I like when HE makes presents for people.
Homemade stuff is so heartfelt.

I bought him Elmer's Glue Glitter Sticks and he
was in heaven!!  He added glittery dots to each ornament he
painted....and they really turned out cute!

He doesn't go far without Super Mario these days!

At this point he heard Jingle Bell Rock on the radio and
said, "let't take a break mom and dance!"

And the dancing began.....notice he has Super Mario!!
He was singing at the top of his lungs and just having a great time.
I even got in on the action but there are no pictures for evidence!!!!!

I think he danced around to about 3 songs and then I told
him he should take a break.

He was so happy and I am glad we had
an evening to be dorks together!!

I love being a mom and I love moments like these.

Happy Wednesday!!

Christmas Around Our House

Just thought I would share a few
pictures around our house
all ready for Christmas.
I kept it simple this year and
didn't even take out half
of my Christmas decor...it is
less that I will have to pack back
up in a few short weeks!

Come on in!!

Our outside entrance.

This is our entry inside the mudroom.

Thought the mudroom should have
a little tree too!

Our dining room....
this is honestly were the most Christmas
decorations are...besides the living room.

Just simple this year with touches of
Christmas spread around.

I absolutely LOVE this wreath..
it makes me smile!

---LOVE LOVE LOVE---

Our Christmas Tree!!

Gotta get wrapping presents!
The only presents under the tree right now
are the one's Andrew bought at his
school Santa shop.

We get a real tree every year..
our favorite type is Frasier Fur!

I love having a real tree in the house and
don't think we will ever get a fake tree.

We always have a basket of Christmas books nearby.
Andrew picks a few each night and we read them to
him before bed.

My mantle is lacking this year....I wanted to hang a garland
but they all sold at my last craft show and I don't have it in me
to make another.  I did however make some more yarn wrapped
Christmas trees.  I am afraid to put my Book Page Christmas
trees up there since we make a fire just about every
single night after work.

Yarn Wrapped Christmas Trees!!

Our lantern filled with sparkly goodness!!
Well there you have it lovelies...thanks for stopping by!!!

Before you go check this cute print out--

What does your house look like for Christmas!!?

Country Lights 2012

My good friend always gets us tickets
to take Andrew to a local event, Country Lights.
You can't beat it and I am so appreciative that
she orders tickets for us each year---thanks Amy!

This is a great event in our area the kids get to visit with
Santa, visit his Toy Shop and construct a toy of their choice
with the help of an elf, and finally go on
a ride around the farm parks to see all the lights!

It was a really nice but to be honest a little
bit of snow would have been nice to add
to the holiday cheer!

Heading in for all the Christmas festivities.

Quick picture with my peanut!

Our first stop was to see Santa!

My favorite two guys waiting to get into
Santa's Toy Shop!!

Andrew choose to make a train this year.
He loves to build things so this is right
up his alley!

Checking out his work!!

He makes me nervous when he has a hammer!!

Even the Snow Monster is here looking
in at all the action!!

This year Andrew worked hard at the painting station.
In the past it was a 1-2-3 job.
This year he took his time.

Check out the flag on his train..he asked
the elf helping him if he could add a flag!

The farm park has characters scattered all around
so we thought it was a great chance for a few more
photos!!

Andrew and I and the whole Rudolph bunch!!

Christmas Eve is only a week away!!!
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season
with your loved ones and making new memories too!!

A Very JAMMED Pack Weekend Recap!

This weekend went by in a blink of an eye.
We had a good weekend filled with
lots of fun family holiday cheer!!

First, Andrew lost his first tooth!!
It was very exciting for him...
so when he was peacefully sleeping
Kev and I got to work spreading
Tooth Fairy cheer!!

What do you give for fallen out teeth?
We stuck with the tradition of cash....$2.41.
Odd number right!?
It is what my hubby went with!

My idea to sprinkle is bedroom
floor with glitter!!
He loved it and we told
him it must have been
Tooth Fairy dust!

Eddie continues to POP up in unexpected
places and is even leaving notes behind
once in awhile.

This week Kev and I successfully opened an Etsy Shop!
Stop by and check it out....maybe you will find something
you cannot live without!!!

More products will be listed as I refill my inventory.

I finally got around to writing out a few Christmas cards...'
now I need to get them mailed..baby steps!!

Saturday morning....my #1 guy made us a toasty
fire and we were all nestled in watching
morning cartoons!!
Gotta love a man in sweats and
work boots at 7:30 am!!!

This young man got a haircut....he needed it badly.

Andrew has been in a drawing phase we
have pictures all over our house and they
just melt my heart to see how his
imagination runs wild when he is drawing!

Saturday night we headed to our good friends house for
a Kids Christmas Party!!
The kids had a blast and it was nice getting together and seeing everyone.

All the kids got to make their very own gingerbread
house....they came out super cute!
I think Andrew may have eaten more candy then he put on his house...
and here is packing up some candy to take home!

Sunday morning=We were LAZY!!
Lots of strong coffee was consumed by myself!!

I started getting all my hoop art material ready and
I am going to start making my hoop art wall this week!
More to come on that!

I found Andrew creating again!!!
This time he cut out Mario pictures and
glued them down into one of his notebooks.
I love that he has a creative side.

As I was straightening up my desk this afternoon I spotted
this Amazon gift card.  I think tonight I am going
to spend this baby and maybe just on myself!

Tonight we took Andrew to Country Lights.
We go every year with our friends and
it is a nice night for the kids.

Andrew told Santa he wants a toy train that goes around
the bottom of the Christmas tree.
He has wanted one of these for awhile and I guess
maybe now is the time to get one?

Maybe one more thing....I thought I was done!!!!
We shall see!!?

How was your weekend!?
