Ladies Night @ The Nest

A few weeks back we hosted our 2nd Ladies Night!

If you missed it...you must come when we have another one....

it is a good time and everyone really enjoys themselves!
This second Ladies Night I tried to change things up a bit and we had a few new
vendors that were a great addition to our event.

All the ladies loved creating their own metal hand-stamped bracelet or ring....

I love mine too ......

 

 

 

 

 

Tiffany from Maddie B's Boutique brought the cutest little girl hair accessories and

some pretty adorable vintage home décor too!

 

Cory gave away a free mini family portrait session.....and Alicia was the lucky winner!

 



Kristin from Earth Eats set up for the night with her delicious all natural
jams, jellies, granola  and MUCH MORE! Her products are always a hit!

 



 

 Christie from Pampered Chef had some really unique new items to share with the ladies too.

 



 

Kristyl from Toe Ink was swamped all night!

The ladies all love receiving their $5.00 express manicures.

 



 We had a dessert and coffee bar as well as a wine, cheese and cracker bar!

Good food and drinks was had by all!

 

So many ladies hand-stamped their own metal cuffs or rings....

it is fun to see what message everyone decides to stamp...
no two bracelets or rings turned out the same! 

Each one was "unique" just like all of us!

 



 

It was nice seeing so many customers mingling with one another and
 also getting to know our vendors better. 

We have the BEST customers and Ladies Night is our way of saying "thank you"

for supporting us within the Chardon Community.

 



 

The store was jammed pack that night with a lot of new home décor items and some

ladies even went home with some new items to freshen up their homes just in time for Spring!

We had a great turnout and have already been asked by several ladies when

our next Ladies Night will be!! I am so grateful that The Nest brings happiness

 to so many ladies....it is my slice of heaven that I LOVE sharing with others.

They are great helpers and I am grateful to have both.

Hello March.....Goodbye February!!!

We just wrapped up another exciting month at The Nest....

it was filled with February Craft Clubs, a Surprise 40th Birthday Party,

 a Valentine Themed Birthday party, a visit from New Day Cleveland, new furniture,
and a ton of new Spring Home décor items!!!

We are welcoming March with open arms and patiently waiting for Spring!!!

 This past month New Day Cleveland from Fox 8 visited us when
they were filming a segment on shops in the snow belt!
It was an experience I will never forget and
we were truly honored to be contacted by them!!

We also hosted many Craft Clubs!!
The Nest Crafting Studio is such a happy place and
when all the amazing ladies get together its magical!

Our February Craft Club was a BLAST!
The ladies created a 14 ft wooden bunting with decorative paper and paint!
They all turned out ADORABLE!

We also were honored to host Maddy's Valentine's Day themed Birthday Party!
The little ladies did an amazing job creating their "one-of-a-kind" canvas.

We also hosted Chelsie's Surprise 40th Birthday Party!

Chelsie is a regular customer at The Nest and when her

friend, Holly called to plan this party I knew

Chelsie would LOVE it!

 These ladies were the best party planners....... they thought of every little detail!

For Chelsie's party they painted and designed wood serving trays.

we have been restocking the store with a lot of new furniture pieces
and Spring home décor items.

My Little Guy Turns......8!!!

This past weekend we celebrated Andrew's 8th Birthday.....

hard to believe he is 8 already but he is and I cannot stop time (unfortunately).

I see him growing and changing and it makes me

 happy that he is so happy!!

I find myself thinking "I am raising a little man"

and one day he is going to make a WONDERFUL hubby!!

 

This year Andrew wanted a Minecraft themed birthday party so we invited

some of his friends over and they all had a good time!!

She did an AMAZING job and Andrew was so excited about it!

Andrew has a great group of buddies and some pretty awesome cousins too!



 

They played Minecraft Bingo.....so thankful for Pinterest!!

You cannot find Minecraft party supplies anywhere and why is that, licensing!?

But you can find FROZEN stuff still everywhere...makes no sense!

As a mom of a little boy......the big box stores need to step up their game for boys already :)

And then it was time for the piñata......Andrew wanted a Minion piñata....didn't go with

his whole Minecraft theme but the kids didn't seem to mind especially once they were gathering all the candy!

And just like that....Happy Birthday Buddy!!!!

We LOVE you!

On Monday night (Andrew's actual birthday) we sang Happy Birthday one more time!

I hope he made a good wish :)

I wish nothing but the absolute best for this peanut!!!!!

A Lot Going On!

The saying is "time flies when you are having fun"

and I cannot believe it is February already.........

 

 

January just came and went with a bang!!

 A lot has been going on these days around The Nest

3 Kid Birthday Parties...

to say we have been busy is an understatement

BUT it is a GOOD busy and we could not be more happier!

For our January Craft Club the ladies each received an unfinished wooden frame with chicken wire inside they had to paint, distress and add embellishments to create their masterpiece!

Some ladies made them to hang their jewelry from, while other made them to hang their daughters hairclips from or,

to hang pictures and other important info from.

They all turned out adorable and each one was "unique"

Craft Club is AWESOME you have to come if you

 have not made it to one yet!

You can come alone or with a friend...it does not matter because once you get here everyone welcomes you with open arms!

It a night out to meet someone new and to create something unique!
